Homebee
UPDATE Thanks LanceB : Curtiss SBC-3/-4 Helldiver Vespa Model Kits is working on 1/72nd and 1/48th resin kits from an aircraft type I'm unable to identify. Any guess as I confess that it's a aircraft from a period of aviation I've no interest at all. My first thought was a Grumman F type from the thirties. But Vespa Model Kits answer was "...close but no." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtiss_SBC_Helldiver V.P. I'd be very optomistic that their SBC will be superb too. See: and: http://www.missing-lynx.com/reviews/small/vs720001reviewbg_1.html http://www.missing-lynx.com/gallery/small/mausv2bg_1.html The company that announced the Helldiver is Vespa Model Kits, apparently from Lima, Peru. Vespid Models is from Shanghai, China. Two different entities.
kopperhed
If this is in resin, it won't completely replace the CA kits. I'm not a huge fan of the resin medium. Of course, the quality and availability throw more into the equation, but I already own both of the CA versions and I am hesitant to immediately pitch them.
