Boeing 747 aftermarket parts

The Boeing 747 is popular at the moment, so I have dragged my various scale kits out of the stash for a look and consideration to build.

As a type it seems quite poorly covered by aftermarket parts, unless I'm missing them.

Apart from Braz engines and Reskit wheels what else is out there (in any scale)?

There's a metal detail kit, which looks quite extensive:

Also it looks like there are some slat and flap parts:

https://www.shapeways.com/marketplace/miniatures/vehicles?tag=1%2F144+747+detail+parts

It's showing as £62.57 just for the flaps however...

A most useful topic, James. This eBay listing of the Metallic detail set illustrates just where the various bits go.

And this Flying Colours 747 detail sheet looks worth having.

Looking forward to your 747 WiP.

Cheers

Thanks for all the pointers so far.

Actually in a way it only reinforces the view that there is little out there.

A decent resin flap set would be popular you would think, the Shapeways set is expensive especially if you wanted the LE and main flaps.

Also on the subject, does anyone know if the Braniff 'International Ultra' scheme was ever done in decals?

This the later scheme with the fin/rudder and engine casings also in orange, and the modernised font.

Somewhat surprised that I can't find any, but might be my poor searching skills!
