neil5208
Latest finish of 2020 is Eduard's Fw190A8 from the Grunherz boxing, a dual combo kit. Second Eduard Fw190 I have done so I knew what to expect as there is a couple of things to watch out for when building, built out of the box as an aircraft of14./JG54 during Op Market Garden. Painted using Tamiya and Mr Colour acrylics, just started using the Mr Colour acrylics and I will be swapping all my paints over as the tamiya one's run out. I did the mottling free hand, a first but it worked well so I can now do the Bf109 I have in the stash. Some light exhaust and mud staining using MIG powders. As usual any comments welcome. Just another 3 to go on the WIP. Edited September 3, 2020 by neil5208
Walter
Great work, the photo's don't do it justice looks like you used a heat lamp for lighting, you had better pics in your WIP page. Hey the lighting isn't a big issue, just want to see the plane in all its glory.

kapam
Excellent build! It really captures the aggressive/powerful look of the FW-190. Thanks for the quick precis on the aircraft's service too - adding to my knowledge about when/where/how this type served.

Natter
That's really good. I get where you're coming from with the move from Tamiya to Mr Color as well.
