fjaweijfopi4j48 Posted August 31, 2020 Share Posted August 31, 2020 Excellent quality model! I was completely unfamiliar with the type, had to look it up. I think you have used the kit's transparencies. The effect is superb. I do not build airliners, but I understand that the waters are divided regarding the use of decals or clear parts in 1/144 airliners. If some after-market decals are indeed convincing, and -from a distance- produce a nice effect, well integrated and clean clear parts are to my eye superior. After market "transparencies" (windshield and pax widows) decals inevitably give me the sensation of those very old stamped tin vehicles of my childhood, where the people that weer supposed to be inside were represented painted on the surfaces. Decals instead of clear parts I guess speed up the build, but when present, and of quality, they are superb (again, I do not build airliners, just expressing a point of view as a fellow modeler spectator).
