dandove
I need to remove Ultimate Primer from brushes. Can anybody suggest the best way of doing this, please?
Mark Harmsworth
I use Ultimate primer both by brush and airbrush. The best way to remove from a brush is to not let it dry and it simply washes off in water. But are you talking about dried paint (if so I'd probably throw the brush away and start again) Mark
lasermonkey
I've found that cellulose thinners dissolve any paint I've thrown at it. It's pokey stuff!
NigelD
"the masters brush cleaner and preserver" seems to strip must things from brushes. It's a soap type thing which you work into the bristles and lather. Rinse with water. I am sure that they claim it will remove dried paint. I first used it on a brush which I had thoroughly cleaned. The lather colour showed that I hadn't got it all! Obtained from art shops or amazon etc.
Shin
I use isopropyl alcohol to clean it from my airbrush (as well as to strip it off small parts of a model), don't see why it wouldn't work to help break it down in a brush.
