Fixer
Hello Everyone My first post here so I guess it's only appropriate if the subject is a British aircraft (at least to some extent 🙂) The model is BAe/Raytheon U-125A, a Sword kit in 1:72 scale. The fit and detail level is typical of short-run kits, with some minor fit issues and not too sharp details. Still nothing that a bit of putty and sanding paper cannot fix. Painted with Gunze C and Tamiya enamels.
tonyot
Look cool in that scheme,....... welcome to BM. Cheers, Tony
TheyJammedKenny!
Beautifully done, and your paint weathering effects are exacting! This is a tough little kit. I know, because I have it, and have stolen parts from it for another project. Would you mind advising Mr. Sword to do a straight-up -800 without all the gnarly bumps? Welcome to BM! Latinbear
That looks lovely! Great weathering too. I have one tucked away in loft too. Never seen them in the dark blue before, only in the lighter colour.

Spitfire31
Welcome to the gang! And what a beautiful model! You hardly realise it's been expertly weathered, it just looks 'right'. Nice livery, too. Impressive premiere, indeed. Kind regards, Joachim

_alfisti_
Nice work and good job on the weathering. I did the kit a while ago, so I know it´s a hard piece of labour to get such a great result as you got.

I just checked your model here on BM and it turns out it is the one I have looked upon many times on the scalemates during my build It inspired me to make alterations to the tail but I gave up on the underwing containers
_alfisti_
Nice to hear😊, I would do something different and after all the work with the kit itself, the containers were only a little extra.😁
