Richard E
A classic from another era, your photographs covers a fascinating era of US military aviation as many historic types like the F-4, F-105 and F-106 were being retired from services whilst today's more familiar models such as the F-15, F-16 and A-10 were beginning to enter front line service. Do you have any more shots of the mighty F-105 lurking the the background of the picture of 59-0099 ?
Retired Bob
Lovely photos of the F-106, like the smile on the bull outline of 59-0091.

Notice that there are long and short nose variations as well. 14 hours ago, Richard E said: Do you have any more shots of the mighty F-105 lurking the the background of the picture of 59-0099 ? Now you've got me wondering. Unfortunately, I wasn't that conscientious in marking dates on my slides when I was starting out (Jul 80 to Feb 81). Many I can 'ball park' by the processing date embossed on the slide frame, but Kodak didn't always apply a date?!?! I know I have the dates in my log book, If only I could find it, it's been a while after all, and I know I wouldn't have binned it. I'm taking the long way 'round to say that maybe these are Georgia Weasels that I have already posted as being at Red Flag 81-1 a month or so before?
