Pierpaolo
Hi! I would like to join in this GB with a Hawker Hurricane Mk.I from Arma Hobby , 1/72nd scale I have not yet chosen the subject, I have looked at which subjects have already been registered to avoid "copies" The box contains the following subjects: P3901 RF-E - n° 303 sqn RAF - W. Urbanowitz V6757 RF-E - n° 303 sqn RAF - J. Zumbach V6605 YO-N - n° 1 sqn RCAF borrowed to 303 sqn - Z. Henenberg Also I have a decal sheet from Sky Models that allows me to make these other subjects: N2359 YB-J - n° 17 sqn RAF - L.W. Stevens (?) V6864 DT-A - n° 257 sqn RAF - R. Stanford Tuck P3395 JX-B - n° 1 sqn RAF - A.V. Clowes Finally I have a series of roundels, letters and numbers from Tally-Ho and Eagle Strike with which I can compose almost any fuselage code and serial number, but I lack personal or squadron insignia I still take some time to decide Below are the photos of the box and aftermarket
Pierpaolo
Hi! The first steps in the construction of the Hurricane were the assembly of the wheel wells and its fixing inside the wing halves the fit is very good and the joint with the fuselage seems to be fine too I am building the MkI and the MkIIc at the same time and I notice that some small defects in the first have been corrected in the second (wheel wells fixing and fuselage/wing junction) Contrary to what one might think they are 2 different molds
Rabbit Leader
Nice progress so far and interesting to hear some slight differences between the two kit builds. I’m sure they will both look great once finished. Cheers.. Dave
