I had a hard pucker there for those few moments after I realized what I had done and getting it deleted. I was expecting to be transported just beyond the moon's orbit at any moment. I'm still checking the household perimeter of off-Earth suspects. Chris
fjaweijfopi4j48
The beautiful and extensive set from Arctic Decals has arrived. It includes the masks and photos, decal application instructions and notes on the original plane: We are on!

TheyJammedKenny!
Nice! That didn't take long at all, did it? It seems that the turn-around time on the mail service is improving. How much did you $$ to obtain the custom decals, if I may indecently ask, and how many sheets were you obligated to purchase to make it worth Arctic's while? How much did you $$ to obtain the custom decals, if I may indecently ask, and how many sheets were you obligated to purchase to make it worth Arctic's while? This were super speedy indeed. I have been purchasing decals and masks and "chromed" window frames, besides commissioning my own decals, for many years from Mika. I suggest you contact Mika at Arctic Decals for you inquiries, as projects vary in design complexity, number of images, number of colors, special colors (metal colors, white), references availability and other factors. Mika also has many other projects, so you may have to wait a bit sometimes, which I don't mind. He may or may not take on your project, depending on his schedule and other variables. This particular one he turned it into a set available for everyone.
fjaweijfopi4j48
The decals went on without a problem. Tomorrow will be time for all those control cables, their guides, some additional rigging, antenna, and the itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny bits:
Andwil
Looking at the decal sheet and considering your other concurrent build I was sure you’d go for F-32! AW
billn53
I ran across this video while looking for info on Ford Tri-motor models. It’s not in the one true scale, and it’s made from paper - not plastic. But, it does have a nice toilet 😁 2

AW Can't, it's not the plane in which Carlos Gardel flew, which was F-31. F-32 was the only other Ford trimotor used by SACO in Colombia.

fjaweijfopi4j48
Midway into the running of the control cables to the tail, I realized I was connecting the wrong things to the wrong things. So start over again: 7
