Bell209
Finished! The green turned out a bit darker than I'd planned but that's due to using black as a base on the Mr Crystal Color Tourmaline Green. If I did it again, I'd use a light grey in lieu. Happy enough, though. Apologies for the background but it's too hard to photograph with the usual sheet background on its stand! besides, it would disappear in the white sheet. Bell209
Thanks Ray; it's light years ahead of my first attempt on it, anyway!

opus999
This looks fantastic! It's too bad it's hard to get a good picture of the contrast between panels because I'll bet it looks amazing in real life! I enjoyed following the build too. Gives me hope for the pile of parts I have that used to be one of these kits.
Bell209
Thanks, mate - yes, capturing that contrast is really hard. Caught in the right light it does look good! Get into the restoration - there's so much good AM out there for it now.

tfcrafter
I had a lot of trouble with this kit - it's quite antiquated, but yours looks fantastic!

Bell209
Thanks, gents. The paint catches the light really well in the display cabinet, giving it that metallic look I was after. Looks much better than it did!
