I got this as a Birthday present, having seen a few builds in various sections on here mainly @diablo rsv. I've got a few ideas on how the finish build will look, it will be set in France as during the early stages of the buses conscription. I'm currently taking annual leave and got a bit done, the detail is fantastic, however, with the extremely delicate parts there sprue connections are a little over the top.

Nice work, it looks fiddly and fragile even from here!

Great job getting all square and four wheels on the ground!

Great modelling.

there are are a few more fiddly bits to do on the passenger cabin, I’m not looking forward to doing that bit.

Looks good! Nice to see something a bit different.

Thanks Phildagreek,

after building miniarts european tram last year, I do like the unusual builds the red will definitely add a bit of colour on the shelf.

Looks like you're making a lot quicker progress than I managed Ozzy. The way I'm faffing around you could be finished before me.😁

They do look smart in the red, I may be tempted yet to build another one.

Thanks Wayne,

it will be slow going from now, going to get a coat of primer on then overall black before picking out the detail. I think I've got a plan for displaying the finished build, I can't finish before you as I'm using your build as a hand rail. I'm seriously thinking of getting the coal truck in the future. I'm looking forward to getting a coat of red on her in the not to distant future.

Thanks Ed,

the kit is a real joy to build and it's nice to add a bit of colour to a shelf of Panzer grey and green.

Great work Ozzy. Miniart kits are very good, with lots of detail part, but sometimes they are oh so delicate.

John.

Thanks John,

there are more delicate parts to come with the railings on the top deck.

Hi Ozzy. Great to see you underway with what looks to be a interesting - if a little fragile!! - kit.

Kind regards,

Stix

Thanks Stix,

i think these miniart kits are fantastic there are a few fragile bit, there definitely not for the faint hearted. I've got a bit of primer on and built the steps, again a nicely engineered module.

Yes, well.  It's all very nice and all; well moulded and detailed and the like - and of course very nicely built.  But I ask you, just what is wrong with the Airfix kit?

Thanks Dave,

the builds of the Airfix kit I've seen look fantastic, unfortunately I've never seen one to buy. A bit like the PE-2 kit, hopefully one day I will stumble across one.

I started  the top deck over the weekend, I'm really happy with the progress and the colour. I've also got a plan for the display which is slightly different than my initial plan.

I got the bottom deck sorted today, went together really well I also broke some of the windows ( on purpose). I also added some coffee stirrers on the window frames with no glass in them.

The stairs will look good when they finally get attached.

This is looking really nice, i really like what you have done so far. Miniart do some cracking subjects, with so much detail. You are doing a great job....

Ed

Thanks Ed,

ive got to agree with you, miniart do some cracking subjects. There are some delicate bits but very rewarding once fitted.

Got the majority built now, I managed to not break any of the hand rails. I've just got a few bits to add an make a suitable base.
