1/48 WWII stowage

Hi

Currently working on Tamiya's excellent little 1/48 Panzer II. I have found a picture of the vehicle I am making and it has a fair bit of stowage (ammo boxes, tarp, bucket etc) on it. Just wondering if anyone makes any sets including these types of items?

Paul Wade (Red Zebra Models) will give you a set of tarps which may be suitable.  Hope this gives you a good starting point.

Hi,

Redog and Valuegear make 1/48 stowage. Just search '1/48 stowage' on ebay. I've bought the Redgear packs and they seem quite good. Tamiya also do a 1/48 Jerry can set which also has a few bits and pieces in it.

As luck would have it, I have just bought the Tamiya "Jerry Can Set" (above left, grey plastic) and the Redog "1/48 Military Scale Modelling Resin Stowage Kit Diorama Accessories Kit 2" (above right, cream resin parts) As you can hopefully see there are some useful tarps and other items besides Jerry Cans in the Tamiya set but greater variety in the Redog kit.

Thanks for all the info guys, lots of good ideas. Looks like the combination of several sets is the way to go, plenty of bits for a few projects.
