Exquisite build in every way. I noted all the additions and changes you made to the kit and that's most impressive. What is your impression of the basic kit if built out of the box by the average modeler?

Thanks for comment. In my opinion, if you make a model out of the box, you get a good model. It is important to paint correctly.

That's a cracking job Igor, ochen kracivee. The hot blueing on the engines is exceptionally well done. How did you do it? Airbrush or Powder pigments?

Cheers

A brilliant model!  Looks perfect!

A very beautiful aircraft too - something I'm not used to saying for many Russian/Soviet planes.

Thanks, Pete!

Heat-resistant panels were painted with an airbrush and some TAMIYA pigments were applied. I looked at the photo of the aircraft and painted.

Pete I painted the panels with the following colors: AlcladII (hot metal sepia, hot metal blue, hot metal red) red + blue = violet) and AK Interactive metalics (stainless steel, titan, jet exhaust).

That is an exceptional looking model. Pretty much as we have come to expect from Igor. I love the cockpit and U/C detailing, very nice. Best regards from the 🇬🇧.
