IGKent Posted August 20, 2020 Share Posted August 20, 2020 Hi all! It’s my latest build – Su-27SM. ZVEZDA kit in 1/72 scale. This multi-purpose fighter 4th generation was start modernized in Russia in 2002. Main modernization – pilot cabin, weapon control system, optical electronic system and others It can carry various high precision weapons - different A-A missiles, A-G missiles, bombs, rocket pods and to use build-in cannon GSH-301. The main difference this modification is setting new engine AL-3F M1, reinforced airframe design, additional weapons points. Used aftermarket (resin AMIGO (RF/Chelyabinsk) photo eched parts “Microdesign”(Crimea, Sevastopol)) I had scratch build and add some handmade plastic parts. My changes: - add rivets and was deepened all panel lines - cockpit and canopy - engine nozzles - nose and main landing gear/ tyres - all landing headlights - A-A missiles - all antennas, main Pitot tube and others PAINTING – AKAN enamel colors, metallic - AK-Interactive WASHING – MIG (cold grey, dark and neutral wash) VARNISHIES – mat and gloss TAMIYA and FUTURE I present aircraft Su-27SM3 “Flanker-B 4+” (number 51 red) Russian AF, Enjoy please! Heat-resistant panels were painted with an airbrush and some TAMIYA pigments were applied. I looked at the photo of the aircraft and painted.
