Ron NL-S
Oh my... that's a lot of figures!! But it all looks good! Like the story too. Maybe just one small thing; the skin colour of the bedouin looks to dark and greyish?

dcrfan
I really like your modelling but those jerry cans on the turret roof are wrong in so many ways. What was the tank commander thinking?

There are a number of photographs that confirm they were carried like that. It was said that they were removed before he tank went into combat. With the vast distances covered during the North African campaign, which stretched supply lines to there limits, vehicles were loaded up with supplies to keep them going as they did not know when they could be resupplied. I did a photo search and only found one and that just had the JCs sitting on the turret roof not secured so I took that the vehicles was being refuelled a leaguer, well the German version of a leaguer.

HOUSTON
Angelo Whenever I follow your thread or view your finished Work, I always love your workmanship. This vignette is PHENOMENAL and your figures are SUPERBLY painted and finished. Your builds/vignettes are always very detailed and every exacting nuances of persons character caught PERFECTLY! I think you have the flesh tones and skin tones absolutely to perfection. I think yoj have gotten the Arab Bedouin right too as they roam and live in desert and in intense heat so their skin gets darker; while their robes get dustier. I know OUTSTANDING workmanship all around. A gold star of vignettes! KUDOS. Edited September 11, 2020 by HOUSTON
