Brandy
Google Taube Omaka and go to the pics. There are some excellent pics of the replica there including close ups of the rigging. There are plenty more pics of this replica available online too, just vary the search a little. Ian
Marklo
Undercarriage and struts painted and tail skid added. At this stage I think I’ve just the engine, prop, seats and instrument panel left, then it’s rigging time .......
Marklo
The Taube gets an engine block, from the spares box. I’ll add the exhaust bits later. So prop and interior and then rigging.
Marklo
Haven’t really had the bench tone or the concentration to start rigging the Taube, but I did get around to making a propeller, carved from paper laminated together with CA then given a coat of clear orange, just needs a boss and it’s done. Marklo
More rigging, using monofilament and very thin copper tube for this.
Bandsaw Steve
Excellent! As I said earlier, I think this is your best yet!
Marklo
Slow but steady progress. Tension on the upper tail lines, I’ll run these down to the other end if the tail post next, then start on the wings.
