72modeler Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Fuad, Nice to see you're back! Very, very nice Trojan in a very colorful and distinctive scheme. Hoping you and yours are safe. Mike
Andy Dyck Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Hi, really amazing colour sceme and very clean build. Is it easy to build? Is the canopy out of box? looks lovely! Cheers Andy

Cheers Andy I made it for almost three weeks. While implanting niches from Aires, I almost went nuts))). I had to drag the drill into the bathroom from a ton of sawdust. The Quickboost engine was bare, pushrods and wires were added. The A-pillar has been redesigned using a metal bar, otherwise 100% would have broken from the load. There is a lot of metal balls in the nose. The canopy is stuffed with etched set from Eduard and resin parts from Quickbust. The entire surface is pasted over with etched hatches. Before that, all surfaces were repeatedly repaired and leveled from a heap of potholes and incomprehensible scratches. All terribly washed-out parts and chassis have been replaced with resin ones. The canopy glass was polished, but it still distorts. It would also be necessary to make drainers of static electricity. No, guys, it was not an easy model))). Edited August 17, 2020 by Fuad 1
Spitfire31 Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 A lot of impressive modelling went into this little piece of plastic (and etched) jewellry! Kind regards, Joachim
SAT69 Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Despite the difficulties, you produced a magnificent piece of modeling!
Shark444 Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Interesting subject and nicely done. The clarity on the bubble canopy is excellent, did you dip it in a liquid floor wax before painting? 1
Pete in a shed Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 The more you look, the more you can see the masses of work that's gone into this lovely build. Cheers Pete
Jpthedog Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Nice model. I actually found it ok to build - front undercarriage is very flimsy though.
Red Dot Posted August 18, 2020 Posted August 18, 2020 Lovely job. I went through the same process with mine. It all looks great I the end, but a hell of a job to get there. Andy
Todders Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 I always enjoy looking at your builds. Well done as usual. 👍🏽
wallyinoz Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 nice one, I had to put a ton of lead in the nose to keep it from tailsitting, it seriously overstresses the nose leg, mine bends over a tad
