Jamie @ Sovereign Hobbies
Today I've caught up with some administration though and have updated our Colour Chart with this year's revisions and additions, including 6 new colour which will be introduced during Q3 this year. dromia
Phwoarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! You can't beat a fine enamel when it comes to model paint. What is your stock levels like? Any more colour "sets"? Edited August 15, 2020 by dromia
Paul Bradley
Very useful! Thanks for posting these, Jamie. I took a quick peek at H&B in the US - their stock levels leave a lot to be desired. Are they still your distributors in the US? Hi, stocks are taking a pounding but we've had a fair bit new in recently with more on the way. 3 minutes ago, Paul Bradley said: Very useful! Thanks for posting these, Jamie. I took a quick peek at H&B in the US - their stock levels leave a lot to be desired. Are they still your distributors in the US? Hi, we've just finished a new trade order for the US and it will leave for a new dealer on Monday/Tuesday latest depending on pick-up by the shipping agent. We'll announce who it is as soon as the customer is happy to (he wants to avoid lots of enquiries etc until he physically has it and has his webstore ready with the products listed etc etc - so we've agreed he remains anonymous until he gives the green light. It's an existing US business and an individual who's well known for great customer service in, certain modelling disciplines at least). I had thought H&B Hobbies was done with things, but was surprised by receiving another new large order very recently, and this will require some additional manufacture to satisfy, and the raw materials are already on order. I wont have enough empty tins for it all, but the Germans are quite quick if quite expensive

foeth
Ok, more seriously... asking for a friend.... which British Army colours from your list are WWII (1943 at the latest)? Modern/gulf are out I suppose...

Modern/gulf are out I suppose... This is out of my comfort zone, but ARB03 plus the S.C.C. paints are WW2, and you can discount ARB19 / S.C.C. No.19 which I understand was introduced in 1944. @Graham Boak I think has a clearer understanding of this than I do. I'd rather admit I'm out of my depth than mislead!
Graham Boak
My best suggestion is to do what I do - consult Mike Starmer's work. In particular his article on the MAFVA website. https://www.mafva.org/british-vehicle-camouflage-1939-45/?v=79cba1185463 2
perdu
Jamie can you stop my brain dying before the rest of me please I am going mad trying to find the paint I will be needing for my 'Royal Army' (hur) Italeri Apache Longbow. Is the weird olive drab colour nestling amongst your range please? Everywhere I seek it I read different US paint code names and numbers. Befuddled of Streetly... Hi Bill, I believe it's FS34031 - let me check if that happens to match anything either I have or ideally something you already have I'll report back...
perdu
Thanks Jamie awaiting nervously. I found a colour chart which suggests that Mr Color does it so if you don't have it, I may see if I can arm-wrestle at a safe social distance with Mikes Models in Kingstanding to have him add it to his range soon. I would prefer a Colourcoats version if available.

It's ACUS25 - a very dark dirty colour
