I was able to contact two author who wrote about the Mustang´s. Probably we will be able to represent a good number of P51 very well documented. In 1/72, the Airfix TF.10 Beaufighter boxing comes with them. So if you build the non Op Firedog option in that kit, they'll be going spare. It seems the new Beaufighter boxing due for release later this year will come with them as well. Not being a big 1/48 scale modeller I don't know what options are around for that scale. I do confess when I saw the photo in the first photo in the above post I wondered why they built a Mustang with fixed spatted undercarriage, then realised it was an optical illusion 🤭 I'm on my phone is my excuse.
