Dave_R
Hi All, I finished one GB yesterday, so I better start another one today. It's another Tamiya T-34 and the kit does show it's age - but I got cheap a few years ago and it fills a gap in the medium tank line-up on my shelf. I'm going build this fairly quickly - not quite Blitz Build quick, but thanks to the current "situation" I'm making major inroads into the stash. Dave. Dave_R
Hi All, The basic construction is done. It was easy to build as expected. Dave.
Dave_R
Hi All, The painting, wheels and tracks are done. All very simple, although the track were a bit tight. Dave.
Dave_R
Hi All, A bit more progress. The decals are on and I've made a start on the weathering with some diluted black oil paint run into the creases etc. I've also glued the tracks to top of the wheels - not the greatest tracks, but a small improvement. Dave_R
Hi All, I've made a start on a base for this. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the base - I'll see how it goes. Dave.
PlaStix
Wow! That's all come together very nicely, very quickly! Well done! Kind regards, Stix
Dave_R
Hi All, I've made a bit of progress on the base. It's supposed to look like the outskirts of a village somewhere in Eastern Europe - could be the Ukraine, the Baltic, Poland etc. , etc... The fence is made from the handles of disposable wooden teaspoons soaked in tea and then stained with dilute oil paint.
Dave_R
Hi All, I've been off-line for 20 days - you can imagine how frustrating that's been, however I've finally got my broadband sorted and it's much faster now. I did try uploading the Gallery pics from my ipad using the public Wi-fi in Asda, but what with passwords etc. to remember and then not being able to get the links to copy and paste I gave up. Anyway here's the pics. Dave.
PlaStix
Well done Dave. That's an excellent result! Your weathering works really well and the scene really sets it off beutifully. Kind regards, Stix
