Argosy question

Morning all 

I'm new here and hope I've got this write 

One of the models I have on the go at the moment is the mach 2 argosy the 70s camouflage one 

Progress is glyshal mostly because I don't won't to make a mess of it 

But my question is does any one know what color the gear bays were on the near East camouflaged version 

Looking at the photos I can find all you can see is the gear leg which is black and the gear doors also look black but in all the photos the area is in shadow

I think they were silver/aluminum in color.
