Pegasus 1/72 Vickers FB5 Gun Bus

Recommended Posts

This is my attempt at the Pegasus 1/72 Vickers FB5 Gun Bus. I posted the pictures not because it’ my best ever model but simply because I finished the bloody thing!!

Like all Pegasus kits you have to fashion all the 12 FB5 wing struts as well as fabricating the rear tail boom and it is an absolute rigging nightmare.

Unfortunately the original decals were useless so replacements came from the spares box.

This is my 5th Pegasus kit in 12 months and I have to say that they all require a bit more effort than mainstream models but turn out worth the extra work.

Well done for completing this and the other 5 Pegasus kits. It is a great result from the starting point.  I have done about the same number of Pegasus kits as you and always think they are vague indication of what the aircraft is with bits missing.
Always love the subject of the Pegasus kits though.

Very nice result there. Pegasus are not everyone's cup of tea but a good result can often be achieved. I am currently working on the very first Pegasus product, that being a conversion kit for two seat Harrier. I am trying to post my first WIP with this project but I am having a bit of trouble as someone used to say.

Nicely done. I've just dug mine out of the stash to start when I finish the FE8.

You might want to ask a mod to move the thread to WIP though as this section is for discussion, not models. (See pinned post at the top of this section)
