Recommended Posts

Hi,

The model depicts a Mustang Mk I from No II (AC) squadron flown by the Norwegian pilot Anton Chr. Hagerup on his first operational sortie with the squadron. The sortie took place over the Netherlands in January 1943.

Beautiful build Ragnar, you've caught the look and 'feel' of the original subject aircraft.  That is one fine looking early Mustang and a worthy tribute to the subject pilot.

So you finally made it, well done.

You’ve done an excellent job, I particularly like the subtle weathering and the aerial.

Thank you! I have to admit that I struggled a bit with the motivation at the home stretch, but I got there at the end.
