Peter Roberts
Is the UH-1D tail rotor the same as the tail rotor on a UH-1B? Edited August 7, 2020 by Peter Roberts

busnproplinerfan
Can you double check? I’ve seen all only on the port side.I’m pretty sure they have the same length blades.
72modeler
I believe the UH-1B/C/D/E/F variants all had the tail rotor on the LH side of the tailfin. The UH-1H and UH-1N twin-engined variant had the tail rotor on the RH side of the tailfin. See the link to IPMS Nederland for detail photos of these variants- you can see the tail rotor positions. Hope this site will be useful. Mike https://www.ipms.nl/walkarounds/walkaround-helicopters/2180-walkaround-bell-uh1

Peter Roberts
Thanks guys, very helpful. I have a 1/48 Reskit UH-1D tail rotor; good to know it is ok for a 'B'.
