A trio of Spitfires, in B+W no less!

Recommended Posts

I've finished three Airfix Mk1 Spitfires recently, one for the hell of it and two for the BoB Group Build. The builds are just out the box basic ones. THe pictures have been cropped, grain added and the colour removed in Photoshop. Nothings been done to the models themselves, hence no added aerials and stuff.

And a few in colour...

Love basic oob builds.

Great job on all three.

Also nice to see N3277 in its original RAF markings rather than the markings it was given after it was captured.

👏👏👏👏

very nice! I love putting a black and white filter over my models.

I think I once saw one that someone did actually painting it in black and white

Exactly that; I did wonder whether it would work. Just imagine, a whole table of models finished in various shades of grey. I'd love to see it (sorry, straying off topic a bit!).

Smart builds and beautiful photography.

I've also heard of, but never seen, a black and white painted aircraft model. I'm not sure how good that would look, feels to me like it would just look like night fighter camo, but a completely b&w diorama might be interesting...
