Romeo Alpha Yankee
This started out as a 777-300 conversion using 2 Minicraft 1/144 kits. But over time it was painted, decaled, sanded and repainted until I did not like the finish so it was stripped and had its GE90 engines removed. I then had a brainwave to add some spare GE CF-6 engines from a 747 kit to it. It was repainted again and I used 2 Australian Airline A300 decal sheets to finish it as a What - If. So I present to you my Australian Airlines Boeing 777-476ER... 35

tomprobert
That looks really impressive - very graceful in fact. Looks a bit like the love-child of an Il-96-400 and an A340-600!
Viking
Interesting! I bet 99% of people would not spot the 'what-iffery'. It looks entirely credible. Cheers John
Abandoned Project
Wow! That is totally amazing! 1 hour ago, Viking said: Interesting! I bet 99% of people would not spot the 'what-iffery'. SAT69
Most excellent modeling! And I have to say the 777 looks mighty good in four engine configuration. In fact, to me, it looks better than the two engine configuration. My two and three quarter cents worth.
Adam Poultney
very interesting conversion, not sure how realistic a quad 777 is but I like it! 2 hours ago, Abandoned Project said: I had been pondering what a single deck 747 would look like and now I know. For much the same reason, I always liked the look of the A340s over the A330s, so this one just looks better. Steve.
Bell209
Must agree - the four-engine configuration looks great! Nice work, Ray.
busnproplinerfan
I'd for sure accept that as a 747 replacement, it's actually a great looking plane. Boeing should dump the max and develop this.
