Andrew.S
My other build is a tourist airplane again. This time it's my favourite Zlin XII (my top one prewar Czechoslovak civil design), but in British service. I have already built one a long time ago, when I was just 15. I don't know of any photo of this particular plane (G-AFMW), so it's gonna be quite a carefree build. The marking is overall aluminium dope so that's another plus point! I started with the cockpit and finished with putting fuselage halves together. Seats were rather tricky - they are much wider than they should be and they stretch the fuselage halves by 1 mm on each side. Enjoy the photos Cheers, Andrew

Andrew.S
Short Satellite is completed, so I carry on with my second build - Zlin XII Today I sanded the fuselage, also changed a shape of a fuselage back a little bit, then filled the remaining holes at the belly with putty again, glued in the tail section and even worked on the engine. I made a hole in the air intake and in the back of the engine cover, and the cylinders are ready to paint. Cheers, Andrew

Andrew.S
This week I worked on the undercarriage and the surface cleaning. Today I glued the undercarriage struts together and put on the final layer of the Surfacer 1000 primer. The "XII" is ready for tomorrow silver painting! It stands!

PropellerHead
Very nice, clean build. I have this in my stash and it will probably be my next. I'm wondering what paint you used for the metal finish?
