Dr Spadgent's House of Horrors . ( Multitudinous modelling )

Recommended Posts

Welcome to a terrifying tale of scale modelling on a ,mixed, multifarious, multitudinous,

several, multiplied, all manner of, myriad and no ways singular level.

🖤

While thinking about this or should I say these builds I reminisced about the portmanteau movies of my youth and how my next project felt very familiar to the concept of many stories in one thread.

Four Tales of Terror  Modelling with the only common thread being the enigmatic Dr Spadgent. 😈

This thread will be the gateway if you will, the four doors of the asylum each one filled with all manner of twisted nightmare fueled modelling mayhem. Never before have I embarked on such a journey of multifaceted madness. lets hope it won't be my last.

Welcome to.....

So... You’re a serial starter, Johnny! 😜 I’m definitely going to look, especially for the AB-47. It’s very nice idea to put some builds in one thread, It’ll not be boring considering your building speeds. 👍

The Bonzo’s version of the Monster Mash was my favorite. These are going to test me to the max.  Must be mad! 🤪

LOL!  Absolutely have to follow this one now.  It's too rich to pass up!  The most horrid one was the Go229 by far--and you put it first!

Oh heck, that one looked like fun. 🥳

You never get bored with the hobby when you have multiple builds on the go. Confused yes, but bored no. That said I do sometimes knuckle down and finish stuff, for example, miscellaneous rebuilds notwithstanding, I am pretty much sticking to the Caproni until it’s finished ( somehow that sounds wrong, ho hum)

It’s true. I started two builds some time ago and I must say that the things going on easier in comparison with the only one kit on the bench.

Ah, the Blenheim - it would be interesting too...

Join me dear friends

I am covering my eyes for reasons known to everybody by now, but trough my fingers I read "Michael Gough".

Since you are in England, this would be a long shot, but is this the same American Michael Gough that wrote "The Pulitzer Air Races"?

If so, your friend is my friend.

If not, carry on, I am already completely horrorized anyway at the mere sigh...errr...of THE THING (that is, the "M" thing) 😉

I know that Hotel. 😄

Glad to have such interest. 😇 I have been away for the past two days having a boys camping trip in Ludlow. A friend who lives alone and my oldest friend made up the trio. Our first put adventure since this crazyness. It was rather pleasant. Hopefully some plastic will get fiddled with this weekend.
