Looking fabulous Bill, great work.  I am sorry to have missed the WIP, not enough hours in a day unfortunately, hope you are okay.  Great model.

All the best

Until I saw the photos of your model, I didn't even know what a Firebrand was! Very well done model and, yes, the real airplane appeals to me too. The cockpit in 1/72 scale is outstanding!

Astounding. Absolutely astounding.

It's perhaps difficult to reconcile a weapon of war with beauty, but your Firebrand is a thing of beauty.

This is how I imagine my efforts will turn out, but fear they never will......

Thanks for sharing, Bill :)

Kind regards,

Mark

Ouch that's fantastic!!  CMR really are beautiful kits, I built their Wyvern a few years back & that was a beauty.

That's one huge big beastie. I bet that was a bundle of fun to put down on a rolling deck, in bad weather.

I'd really love to have seen the real thing flying.

You've done a superb job with this kit and

your WIP will be extremely useful when I eventually get around to doing mine.

Amazing! Top quality build. Shame the aircraft itself was rubbish, it looks so awesome.
