FG2Si
I recently picked up the Rye Field Models Sturmtiger kit (#5035). The box art doesn't show any zimmerit on the hull, not is there any mention to apply it in the instructions. Were there any Sturmtigers without zimmerit? If so, that makes things much easier for me. Thanks. Carl
Longbow
Unfortunately, all of the Sturmtigers had Zimmerit, but only on hull, and very patchy. The hulls came off Tiger I’s, converted to the Sturmtiger. As such, the Zim was pretty beaten up, and not reapplied. Lee.
spruecutter96
Didn't they stop applying Zimmerit after September 1944? I have no idea when the Sturmtigers were built. Chris.

FG2Si
Thanks gents! That's what I figured but wasn't 100% sure so thought it best that I ask. Carl
