1/48 Airfix DH.82A Tiger Moth RAAF

Recommended Posts

Absolutely beautiful Tiggie Andrew - wonderful build and superb colour/finish. Wish these paints were available here in the UK - the ones I have seen look superb!

Cheers

Hello, just a note to say what a lovely finish you have achieved on your kit especially the Matt finish. I would be very interested to know what you used to get that?
thanks, Andrew.

Astounding. You've nailed the yellow scheme & the rigging is superb. How did you do the turnbuckles?

Thanks, the anchor points were made from really fine wire loops glued into pre drilled holes. The ezy line passed through the loops.

Excellent  job and nice to see a different scheme. Any reason you chose a RAAF machine?

Must get one of these Airfix 1/48th Tigers.

Just because I’m an Aussie.

Absolute ripper there Andrew.

Just starting trying a couple of SMS paints. May have to get their Trainer Yellow as well and an Airfix 1/48 Tiger Moth for similar a build.

Love it.
