Ozzy
I'm more at home in the armour or the diorama section, but every now and again I build an aircraft or 2. The insignia on both builds are done using paint masks, both aircraft were washed with flory grime. be gentle, 54
SAT69
I'm in awe at the way you reproduced the flaming smoking engine! Oil leaking from the left engine. Bullet holes in the wings. Pilot about to bail out. Most impressive diorama!

GrahamS
Love it. Really like the way the Spit is banked over, gives a real sense of movement and speed. Graham

Thanks SAT69, i had seen a few builds on the net with LEDs and cotton wool, I thought I’d have a go. 8 hours ago, bigbadbadge said: Fantastic diorama, great work, this is very impressive indeed. Thanks bigbadbadge, i’m Really impressed how it’s all turned out, I was lucky the Spitfire didn’t hold in her original position. 7 hours ago, Phone Phixer said: Beautiful work. I think next year I may build a few more aircraft. 10 minutes ago, Epeeman said: Excellent work and and very clever diorama that looks very convincing Regards Dave Thanks Dave, i’m Impressed the glue held on the rod holding up the Spitfire. Lightningboy2000
Really spectacular work there! You have everything going on that really draws on the emotions. Apart from the sound of gunfire & engines it needs a soundtrack & in my humble opinion the only one would be this.
Uncle Pete
Knockout. Your Spitfire pilot is very thorough... He's saying, "When I get done wiv you I'm comin' after yer family!"

Badder
Wow Clive, That's superb. Brilliant composition, I found myself making sound effects. If I were that pilot I wouldn't be bailing out just yet. I wouldn't fancy being sliced to pieces by the Spit's prop. Reargaurds, Badder

Reargaurds, Badder Thanks Badder, ive been expanding my repertoire thought I'd dabble on the dark side, I've been planning it for a while and am happy the metal rod has held the spitfire up. Sky Keg
Ozzy..............if I was in that 110, I`d be bailing out too. Very nicely done especially with armor being your primary skill set. I like the way it turned out!!!! Mike
woody37
Excellent diorama, this must of been as much of an exercise in engineering as modelling. Love the pilot trying to bail out

Mike Thanks Mike, having asked a few questions on panel lines etc, there are a number of transferable skills. Looking forward to building a few more aircraft. 28 minutes ago, woody37 said: Excellent diorama, this must of been as much of an exercise in engineering as modelling. Love the pilot trying to bail out Thanks Woody, yep initially it was mainly engineering to fit the pole and workout the lighting and motors, it was nice to add a new dimension to my building.
