Bomber Command Arty Pics

Recommended Posts

Whilst on furlough, I had a play around in Photoshop. I don't really know what I'm doing in there, I just press buttons and pull levers until it does something interesting!

One of the levers I pulled made some arty changes to the images which looked pretty cool so thought I'd share them as something slightly different yet still RFI photo's.

The first two are of the recent FM 1/48 Halifax

And another from this years output, the Airfix 1/72 Lanc straight out of the box

Hope it's brought something a little bit different.

Thanks for looking

That's an impressive collection there Neil, the Whitely jumped out for me though, stunning!

I use photoshop for a living, using the same method.

Superb squadron, but where do you keep them all?

thanks for the comments everyone :)

Ian, at the moment, they are all boxed up in the garage so only come out for shows. I’m hoping to get a few on display in the house at some point. Just ordered a custom case for the big Halifax which isn’t cheap but will allow it to stay indoors.

😂😂 you’ve probably pulled more levers than me then! I only know the image adjust stuff so far as I use that to compensate for lighting sometimes.

cheers

They look brilliant Neil,...... if you can superimpose them onto a background depicting an airfield they would look real mate!

Cheers

So when is departure time for the sortie?

Fantastic collection Sir.

The pics are really something different. Thanks for sharing. Roy Chadwick and others would be proud! My.. Our Target for tonight gentleman is...

As teen angers we would drive our cars wrcklessly at night on the Old abandon AV Roe aerodrome in Radlett , Hertfordshire NW of London. . These pics made me think of these days somehow. I didn't appreciate the history of Radlett at the time..
