Slater
Wonder if this has a realistic chance of making it all the way through to aircraft delivery? https://www.janes.com/defence-news/news-detail/serbia-notes-interest-in-boeing-saab-t-7a-red-hawk-jets
Truro Model Builder
I think there is more chance of the RAF buying Flankers, to be honest.
exdraken
Why not? Serbia operates some western designs mainly helicooters already Few know that Yugoslsvia was on of the biggest F-84 operators as well... Chances are slim though I'd say... At 50 million dollars a pop a decent Flanker is not too far away... or a squadron worth of used MiG-29s probably
Slater
In theory at least, the overall reliability and serviceability of the T-7A should be very good and much better than a MiG-29 (although probably less capable). So the long-term cost of ownership should be quite competitive.
