1/48 - Republic F-84F Thunderstreak by Kinetic - released - new USAF boxing

It was in late 2007 when a new chinese brand called Kinetic released its first kit a new tool 1/48th Republic F-84F Thunderstreak (link) with the appropriate reference number 4801. This kit was later reboxed twice by Italeri in 2009 and 2011 (link).

Kinetic is soon to re-release this kit under new ref. K48068.

Did they fix the errors? The wrong intake for one...🤨🤔

I had built a few of these back then. It "smelled" a debut kit so it called some corrections and improvements, but more or less gives you an ok Thunderstreak. Would be much happier if it were a 1/32, though...

Doubt it, The quickboost replacement is good though.

Good news it's back, I still have a couple of Quickboost intakes in the stash so it would be rude not to buy the kits to go with them.

I like that they used Strategic Air Command markings. Those are pretty rare among F-84F kits.
