Pagey
Airfix 1/24 Hellcat. This is a big beast. I used a mask set to do the marking, resin wheels, eduard PE seatbelt and various bits from Anyz models (sparkplugs, pipe connector joints and braided wire). I used the new book from Valiant Wings to open up and add extra details (wiring and scratch made junction boxes) to the area behind the cockpit and radio bay. Also added a couple of strip lights so taht the details can be seen. I also added extra pipework and wiring to the engine compartment. Chipping achieved using the MIg Ammo heaving chipping fluid. 20200724_123830 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_123609 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_123054 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122939 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122900 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122845 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122752 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122639 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122530 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122524 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122510 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122442 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122433 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122356 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122302 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122251 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122206 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122049 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122916 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122339 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122334 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122214 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122100 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122611 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122601 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122158 by Richard Page, on Flickr 20200724_122147 by Richard Page, on Flickr Alongside the 1/24 Airfix typhoon 20200724_123302 by Richard Page, on Flickr 56

Pagey
Thanks guys. Went a bit more restrained on the chipping compared to my worn out corsair. First time using a grimy engine wash which I used inbetween the engine panels (due to the fit not being great) and was really pleased with the the result. I started the build 2 months ago and have worked almost exclusively on it.
