Announcement Purpose of this area

This section of the 3D Printing area is for more mature users of 3D Printers and modelling software to talk to each other at their own level, whereas the 3D Printing Basics are is where you share information at the level of the new user, which I hope to be some day.  Here you'll be more at liberty to use a host of acronyms that you don't have to explain (unless asked) unless you really want to.  We'll have no snobbery though, and the usual polite and respectful rules apply to any conversations that take place in these new places.
