moviedrone Posted July 20, 2020 Share Posted July 20, 2020 This is my finished Bird of Prey from the Round 2 1/1000 scale kit of the BOP and the USS Grissom - I didn't feel I did a great job on the Grissom so I didn't show it off, but included one pic at the end. This kit was a nice build, albeit frustrating, with a poor fit for the torpedo launcher and the wingtips, which have a plain and ugly connection that I did my best to hide. I painted with Vallejo and Tamiya acrylics and weathered using AK pencils. I mostly based it on the studio model, at least paintwise, but they show up way more flat green on the screen than they actually looked like in the shop. Hope you like it.
