TonyW Posted October 10, 2020 Share Posted October 10, 2020 I've tried the Precision Ice and Snow. It works fine but I couldn't see the claimed prismatic effect. That might be my old eyes though. Had I been able to notice the effect I would have been happy paying the price. The bicarb and PVA shown above looks fantastic. I'll be giving that method a go next time I need snow. It's something I've always fancied, but have shied away in fear of making it look messy, except for a Hecker & Goros figure (Austrian artillery officer) whose base has a small patch of 'snow' moulded onto it. I'm also reading the famous "how to build dioramas " by Shepherd Paine. He used a papier maché powder called celluclay with pva glue. Anyone tried that?
