Jaguar MK1 . 1/32 slotcar,but static.

Recommended Posts

Hi,this is a 1/32 kerbside model, made from an excellent George Turner Models slotcar kit. You get a very good resin  bodyshell, vacform windows, bumpers and radiator, that's it apart from a base to suspend a motor in. I went to a charity shop to get a £1 toy that's roughly 1/32 scale as a basis to make an interior, the spacer.pngwire wheels are from Pendle Slot. This car is still racing now,at the Goodwood Revival etc. George Turner Models are well worth a look at,highly recommended by me. I did have spacer.pngtwo MK 1 Jags when I was about 19,one cost me £60, the good one was £100!  Hope you like, Chris.

That's a nice job, great paint and nice detailing.  I've used wire wheels from Pendle Slot Racing on a 1/32 Airfix Jaguar E-type; if anything they look even better under your Mk I.  Did you take any photos of the build?

Thanks John,I saw your E Type it's come out very well, that is called kitbashing! The wire wheels I don't remember being the same name as your ones, but they are from Pendle a couple of years ago. I don't have a work in progress but I can do one as I have another MK1 started, have been making them for the owners. I have made 1/43 kits as well, but these 1/32 ones are a bit bigger- the world needs 1/24 kits! Chris.
