Martian 👽 I'm not a great fan either, but sometimes it can be usefull. Whatever, I choose WJ574 because she's still extant in Florida. And now she's restored, what is interesting is the 360° views of the cockpit... Well now, I'll paid a look in the walkaround section for the wheel's wells. Sincerely.... corsaircorp
Hello Dears !! I already told it !! But the BM walkaround section is a goldmine !! I'll detail the wheel wells and remake the flaps, then, I'll button up the wings !! By Jove, what the hell is that ??? @71chally did'nt tell me that Junkers (or Citroen) was involved in the tail section of the Cranberry Whatever, it will be easier to correct than this mess And even that, will be tamed... Soooo, my cunning plan has worked a bit, here's the general idea... Start to look good !! Proportions are far better now, assymetry is respected... Now filling it up with the FLIR, Radar and LLTTV.... At last, the flap are right !! And here's one more incentive for me to do these Canberra's The guy look like Roland P. Beamont, did'nt he ?? I lknow that he was the test pilots for EE. Another way for me to pay a tribute to this great man !! Sincerely. CC

But I will not complain about these ones, It's spot on !! At least something spot on with the kit is a good new... Well, I'm still on my way to rectify James's nightmare... On the TT 18 the dashboard is angled twice. So I cut behind the panel, angled it rightly...and.. I glued a stick of plasticard in the furrow, that way, the IP will not retake its primitive form or even brake in 2... Guess how I know it.... Sooo, Airfix engineer were surely still bitter about the thing started in Boston's port... A complete throttle quadrant for the brit version... Aaand a ridiculous joystick for the colonial one ??? Don't cry B-57... I'll fix that... My way to create a throttle for multi engined planes... I choose a bit of sprue from the right size, I always keep lenghts of sprue aside for future use... That way to save bits and pieces for future use turn my good lady completely mad... Then I start to sand the Rhinoplasty for the B-57 I always say that a good beer in the proper Chalice is always helpfull !! See @Martian another use for the one you get now Restaurant this evening for my son's birthday, it's the 2nd of September in fact but our working schedule and blaaah blaaah So we will get it today !! Tomorrow will be spent in a huge zoo, no, I do not speak about BM... So, there will not be modelling tomorrow either... So !! Have a great modelling week end !! And take care... CC PS, No SMW this year, sad but true and almost foreseeable...
corsaircorp
Wooops I forget this one... Wings are now loaded.. .38special.... But, maybe @canberra kid can answer to this question... First, Airfix say pale yellow for wheel wells of the B-57... I'm tempted to use Yellow Zinc chromate, it was generally used in U.S at the time... What do you think about ? Second, for the TT-18, they say silver also for the wheel wells ?? Then on the pics available on the walkaround section, Bomb bays and wheel wells are painted white ?? What to do ? Perhaps, the internals have been painted white at the time the B.2 has been converted into a TT-18 ?? Thank you beforehand !! See you later !!! CC The B.57 wells were Zinc chromatin yellow to start with, the B.57G's were ZC green. As for the T.18's the very early HSS RN ones may have had silver bays I would need to check that, but the later LAG or Camouflaged one would be gloss white. I will add the proviso that we are talking Canberra's nothing is cut and dried! John 2

71chally
I would go white with the TT.18 bays, though after a bit of use they often look a very pale grey, http://www.fradu-canberras.co.uk/fraducan/ Excellent work CC, you have the patience of a Martian. corsaircorp
Hello Dears, Another fact fixed... On some pics of the B-57G I see a kind of turret in the rear part of the bomb bay... My first thought was a laser designator but no... It was a 20mm gatling gun for gunship testing... And only one B-57G carried it, and stayed CONUS seemingly... So one more thing sorted out !! See you soon !! Sincerely. CC
