fjaweijfopi4j48
The landing gear is being readied, the water tank in the cabane added, reinforcement rods to the nose glued on, vertical rigging masts on the wing in position, and decals to represent stitching on the fuselage side applied:

Dreadfully underpowered things Rocs, an out of condition Moa, running along flapping his arms could probably fly faster. What? You meant the bird and not the aeroplane? Sorry, as you were. fjaweijfopi4j48
Landing gear added. At this point (yes, the model has become pointy, like an urchin) every little step makes you a bit nervous due to the inherent fragility of the model.
Marklo
Looking good. Getting closer to the scary parts I scaled my plans today I may even start cutting plastic this week (eek!!!)
Marklo
Plastic not only cut, but lined and glued For it’s day it was pretty big and will dwarf most of my early war collection. Edited August 20, 2020 by Marklo
AdrianMF
It looks gorgeous already but I feel nervous just looking at it, having 10 left (greasy) thumbs... Regards, Adrian
fjaweijfopi4j48
Before I continue with the build, decals must be applied, then I can proceed with the structure under the wing and the rigging.
Jonners
Fantastic work. Delicate and dainty. It will look superb once rigged (okay, it already looks superb...). I think it's well on its way to being my new 'Favourite Moa Creation'! Jon

Jon Thanks, Jon Still a stretch to go (no pun intended 😁) I am trying to devise a strategy as to where use the rigid ceramic fiber or the stretchy EZ line. I think I have a plan. Assuming I get as far as the rigging. On a related note I’m trying to track down Taube: Dove of War which should be (somewhere) in my attic otherwise €20 off abebooks. It’s a wonderful book and shows pretty much every Taube built including the wired biplane and limousine Taube s.

fjaweijfopi4j48
Due to the wildfires, red sunsets: Air quality is bad, needless to say. Very hot and dry weather, smells of course burnt, itchy eyes. I may pause modeling a bit, at least until the high temps subside, not conducive to sanding or precision work.

I really should get some painting done on mine. And at least get round to getting to a similar level of assembly as @Moa Hopefully tomorrow. 🤞 I had no idea there were wild fires at the moment. Mind you I've spent most of the day at an arboretum with no phone signal. Bliss 🐧 Edited August 20, 2020 by FPDPenguin

Although the Taube was the first bomber the vast majority were civil aircraft and afair everything in the book was civil, which in hindsight makes the title a bit erroneous. Weather here is terrible, cold and rainy, still since no gardening can be done a good excuse for some bench time, but my superglue isn’t sticking atm. Btw my rigging did eventually stick Edited August 21, 2020 by Marklo
