Arniec
Hi guys, I will be building a Heinkel He-111 P from Revell in 1/32 scale. I have some goodies for it. I will be using a mask set from Montex for a plane from 9/KG55. I will put up some pictures in the next few weeks. As I will be building this also for the He-111 STGB that starts in a few weeks and I will be host. Arniec
I have already got the pictures for you guys. So here they are. The boxart and a box full of plastic. and some of the extra'sI want to use As you can see is there the bomb rack from the H version. As I am making a later P version I need this. Also the exhaust are different and I use some from a H version. I have also got a set from Montex for the maskes including the masks for the 9/KG55. Arniec
Here is a update of what I have done till now. I made the internal bombracks and also started the cockpit. Then it was time to do the engines. They aren't easy to make. It was quite flimsie. So I changed the sequence of building them after the firs one and it went a lot easier. Instead of first doing the outside and then place the front plate I first mated the frondplate to the bottom plate and then build the rest up. Here is one with still a lot of tape around it to clamp it till it was dry. Then I made the central wing. including the wheelbays. And then I mated everything together. This is how far I got today. Arniec
Finally a update from me. I have painted the inside and did some extra's with the zoom set from Eduard. It looks realy good. The only downside is that it is printed in RLM02 instead of RLM66. Here are some pictures . The cockpit and the fuselage. with the radio's They look realy nice, only they are the wrong color. They should have been painted in RLM66 and not RLM02. That is it for now. Cheers,
Arniec
I have been bussy the last vew days. The fuselage glued and taped together After this had dried I have cleaned up the seams and put the centre wing on to the fuselage And then it was time to make the tail pieces and the outer wings. I have cleaned up the seams today and glued everything together. Then you get a big model with a span of nearly 71 cm. That needs to dry now and then I can move on with the "Beast" Cheers,

Arniec
Hi guys, Here is a update of what has been done the last weeks. I have placed the instrument panel inside of one of the glas parts. That looks realy nice. And then it was time to put all the glass parts on the model. The tape was there to hold everything in place till it was dry I also placed the parts for the mg's without their barrels, as they will be replaced with some resin versions from Quickboost (from the Ju-87) Yesterday I placed the landing gear It weas a bit fiddely to place as there is no good place to put the clamps for the landing gear and the manual is vage. That is it for now. Cheers,
Arniec
Hi guys, As I have been bussy at work and don't have much time to model, I finally managed to do something. Here is a picture after the masking was done. I used montex masks as a template to make some from tamiya tape. And I also managed to get some paint on. I first painted the canopie with grey RLM 66 and after that I put on some RLM 71 dark green. That is it for now, but I hope to mask the green tomorrow and paint the other half of the camo in RLM 70 Black green. Arniec
And here is a update with pictures that was done this weekend. I am nearing the finish and hope to get it ready for next week. Here is a picture after I masked the RLM71 and airbrushed the RLM70. and after the masking was removed Then it was time to put on some black on the underside. And then I found a decal sheet in my collection that would make my life easier to finish on time. I will do White F from KG 55. And here are the last two pictures after putting the decals on. That is it for now. Cheers,
Arniec
Well guys I have made it to the finish. Here are a few pictures of the last things done before the end. I have done some dry brushing with RLM 65 to show the original underside color thrue. and this is how she is finished It is a big model compared to the Ju-88 A1 that I builded a long time ago, but she looks good. even as there are some imperfections in the build. (most of my own hands) The other pictures I will place in the gallery. Cheers,
