Dutch guy from Sweden checking in!

Ron NL-S

Recommended Posts

Goodday ladies (I assume) and gentlemen.

I am Ron, Dutch of origin, but live in Sweden now (hence the NL-S). I have been a modeller for 30 decades now, but not continually. I have had my hiatuses.

I used to focus my attention on 1/35 military subjects, with German WW2 (yawn) being predominant and during that period I had a very strong preference for halftracks, mainly 250's and 251's. I did do a bit of figure painting and even a lot of 1/12 scale Tamiya motorcycles many years ago.

Now I build pretty much what I fancy and happily hop between 1/35 WW2 to Ma.K. in 1/20, via figure painting in 54mm up to 120mm with some sci-fi, cars and a motorcycle in the stash as well.

I also have a blog, in which I write in detail about what I do, how and why with appropriate historical or factual backgrounds.

A small selection of my most recent works:

Ron, Welkom! Ma.k? now you have my interest! We need more of that on here.

Those are nice models you posted.

BTW, You've been modelling for 30 decades?

Pete

30 decades? Oh my... slip of the keys, I suppose. But I must admit that sometimes it feels that way. ;)

You like Ma.K.?

My take on a Mk44 ammoknight.
