This one has been on the shelf of doom for years, but is finally finished. It's not the best model I've ever built - the kit had its limitations (mild understatement!) and much of the building was done a decade ago when my skill level was much lower. It first featured on BM last year, as an entry into the KUTA GB. That build is covered here. It didn't quite get finished then, but during the Covid-19 lockdown I thought I should get it finished, including an approximate conversion to a B.2. That bit is covered here. I lost my mojo a bit with this one and was frankly relieved when my 8 year old son announced he would like it on his ceiling - it gave me the excuse to finish it to an 'easier' standard!

Thanks for looking. Please don't be too harsh with the critique on this one - I know the minor stencils are missing and the wing span is a few mm short...! 😁

Love her final resting place. Love it. I do like the all over white. Not sure if I’ll do mine that way? 🤔 maybe. Lovely build mind . Your son is a lucky lad. 🤗

Your boy is a lucky lad, looks great flying across the ceiling, that will fire up his imagination, hopefully he shares your passion, good job!

That's one great looking Victor. Brings back happy memories of me building one back in the 80s....then realising I'd got nowhere to put it. A lot bigger than I imagined 😁 Lovely job on yours 👍

I hope my Victor turns out at least half as good as yours.

Amazing quality.

Cheers Johnny! I think white really suits the Victor, although the next one will be in camo. I think my son likes it! 😂

Thank you! He gets the urge to build occasionally, so that gets encouraged whenever it happens!

Thank you! It was a fun build, but frustrating at times... It’s certainly big - I’m quite pleased it’s in the ceiling now, as it was destined to take up a lot of space on a shelf!

Thank you - just don’t look too closely! 😉 Is yours the Revell one or Airfix?

There is a special kind of beauty to an all white V Bomber.

Lovely build of what I hear is a challenging kit.

My one is Revell’s Victor K Mk2🙄🤯

That how this one started. It’s not a bad kit, but it does need a lot of attention - especially the intake vane guides...!

Thanks John 👍. Definitely challenging but a decent model once the work is done. I suspect the Airfix offering, which is also on my ‘to do’ list, will be easier and result in a far superior model of the Victor.
