Romeo Alpha Yankee
This is a recently completed build of the 1/72 Revell HH-3E I added some parts from a Airfix Sea King to spruce it up and scratch built the FOD deflector using a Fujimi part for reference, I also added some missing parts to the cockpit like collectives and control columns It is finished in markings from a Wolfpak sheet which also included some tips on correcting the kit and adding the missing parts mentioned above. I am not sure the red/orange sections are the correct shade as they changed over time according to the Wolfpak instructions but I am not going back now to change it .
Abandoned Project
Absolutely awesome! Very impressive Sir. I'm sure it will sit nicely with all your fixed wing naval aircraft. Kudos on the scratch building.

John_W
Nice build, this mould must be about fifty years old now.
malpaso
Very nice build. I now remember building this kit some forty years ago and being impressed by the size of it as a helicopter! Not sure where I would have got it, as Revell was a bit uncommon locally...

Booty003
Nice one buddy, it's not often that you see one of these built up and RFI. Looks really good. I have one on my shelf of doom that I really need to pull my finger out and finish. I am surprised that this aircraft hasn't had a decent new mould over the years. There are loads of different schemes and operators for it, shame. Phil
Jeff Wilson
Extremely cool, Ray, and right out of left-field. Nice build. Cheers, Jeff
Dermo245
Very nice Ray, looks great. Will definitely borrow your improvements when I go to build mine in USCG markings! All the best, Dermot

JagRigger
You finished yours before my HH-3F then 🙂 Good effort - I know what a truly horrible kit this is
bentwaters81tfw
Nice job on that. Mine sat on the shelf of doom for many years. Disappointing kit, mine never goes out to shows, never was happy with it.

I had restarted mine just before I saw your build @JagRigger and thought I should get it finished. I have another to do as a Coast Guard version (using a conversion set) like @Dermo245 and a Lindberg one as well which I am unsure of the scheme. There were a couple of fixes I did not make that I could try with the next one.
Lightningboy2000
Very nicely done! Takes me back many years as this must have been my very first helicopter about forty years ago. And those Wolfpak decal sheets do have some nice subjects. Martin

Ad-4N
Fantastic build. What did you use to build the winch housing, the yellow part?
Fred piket
Very good result, despite the trouble with the kit. I like the colors, as already said: something else.
