laurie82
Hi I’m hoping someone can help me, I’m trying to find a book on the universal carrier, variants, colour schemes etc . I’m planning to do a series of models as I believe quite a few different armies used them ,any help would be appreciated.

Mike Starmer
A chap called Watson wrote a two volume detailed history of carriers. I have read Vol.1, generally very useful although his colour schemes are all awry, being a mish-mash of out of date beliefs with a bit of more ecent research. He owns a carrier painted 'sand' with orange wavy stripes on it.
Kingsman
There was an old book called Making Tracks - The Carrier Story, by Chamberlain & Ellis. Abe Books have copies. https://www.abebooks.co.uk/book-search/title/making-tracks-british-carrier-story/used/
