dov
Hallo again This time I did a break on vehicles, and I am back on a/c. This particular a/c is a good example of learning aerodynamics. The area rule is applied, to reduce drag by flying speeds exceeding Mach 1. The angle of intersection of fuselage and wing surface is more than 90°. As the Me 262. This also reduces drag. The delta wing concept also reduces drag, because the surface of the elevator is omitted. The kit is an old one, with all the negative accounts, but something else after the newest plastic tank kits with interior. Now I start the F-102. SAT69
I too had heard the F-106 is a difficult build and, having built the F-102, I can tell you it can be challenging and is best not built closed up. You've done wonderful work on your F-106 and I look forward to your F-102.
Silver Fox
looks great. Having built both I think the 6 is slightly easier than the 2 but both are not shake and bake. That is a great scheme and I like the well looked after finish and the Guard looked after their machines properly.
