bootneck Posted July 9, 2020 Author Share Posted July 9, 2020 Thanks. I have been informed, on another site, that it is an HF radio antenna; however, that antenna length looks more like VHF. Mind you, it depends on how much copper is wound up inside the thicker portion. Cheers, Mike Hi Mike, the device you are referring to is definitely an HF antenna - we had it on one of our leased S61Ns. When engaging the rotor during strong winds, the main rotor blade can actually make contact with the antenna if the wind is strong enough. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
