Fabrice Simon
Hello chaps ! A more recent assembly carried out in 2019. This is my first return to AFVs kits after a ten-year hiatus. The Hobby boss Sdkfz 222 is of very good quality and constitutes a good base to add some details. A DAK soldier from a reconnaissance unit searches for his way in the middle of the dunes... Enjoy ! See you ! Fabrice 58

gmoss
Nice work. I really like the weathering - it can be challenging to get the right look on light coloured vehicles and you have nailed it. The base is awesome too. It places the vehicle in a very realistic looking context.
Harry Callahan
Really great model of a 222. Your paint and weathering work is very impressive, also your base and nice photography
SafetyDad
As others have said, your thoughtful placing of the figure and model at an angle, plus your very realistic portrayal of the dune, is excellent. Well done! SD

Fabrice Simon
Hello chaps ! too happy with your comments and appreciations to all ! It's a real pleasure. Thx a lot StuartH concerning your feeling about poetry beneath the scene . As a matter of fact, it was my purpose (and it's a difficult one 😉 ).

rs2man
A truly excellent job . It made me smile though because , whilst I know it's a compass in his hand , he really looks like someone trying to get a signal on his phone .
